Listening to you and understanding your needs, we are able to advice you on the areas where you should look at and send you some properties matching your requirements. For example if you are looking for a cheap property with numerous bedrooms and a large land and you are on a budget, then we would probably advise you to purchase in the Creuse. It is one of the cheapest area in France and remain popular among the British customers for it preserved “cachet”; and many of our customers say it looks like the countryside they once knew in the UK back in the 50’s

If you prefer to live closer to the beach, then a small budget will find easily a property on the South East coast of France, for example in the tiny resorts of Sete or Beziers in Languedoc. If you have never been to this part of the country before, you should spend some holidays there on your own, with a travel guide or even better a wine guide. A popular day out in this region would be to meet with local “vignerons” in their vineyards, taste their wine and maybe buy a few bottles for friends and family! Usually the small wine makers do not produce enough bottles to be able to sell them in supermarkets and you would need to go on site to have the opportunity to taste their product.

We can also help you to find a mortgage in France with French banks that have teams dedicated to international customers; and finally, when you are at the final stage of your purchase, we can put you in touch with a money transfer broker so as to get the best exchange rate at the time and help you save a few hundreds and sometimes thousands pounds on your money tranfer, money that may be useful once in France for redecorating expenses for example!
