That may be the professional handymans way of painting, but alot of mistakes were made if you are a professional house painter like I am. I have never seen a room painted that way in the business, and I will make a video to show you how we do it. Just another angle on how to paint, it is all good. RH DSD

@CarlLewenski Absolutely true but we don’t need books to do it .. it just comes with practice my first paint was rubbish by time it gets better .. in fact we know everything with a click we can have all the information from the net . the knowledge is not a problem the issue to get up and try to do some work

  • CarlJim88:

    Thanks for the video

    Painting. Speesh.
All you have to do is move fast. Up and down, overlapping each stroke and moving over a couple of inches before the paint dries. Hell, I learned to paint when I was 14. It’s just as easy as drywall or replacing a socket.
The next time you get charged $25 an hour for paint, $40 an hour for tilework, $65 an hour for plumbing, or $85 an hour for electrical work, don’t complain. This shit is so easy, you have no one to blame but yourself for not reading a few books.

1:30 Seal the edges of the tape with caulk, and it won’t bleed though.

Im looking up videos to find the properway to paint the inside of my house and this guy seems to know whats his talking about as I have nicely painted my bedroom following his tips.
What are you so called professional painters doing here making rude coments, perhaps you “professionals” are not so professional becouse if you were then perhaps you would be out painting or making a nice painting video as this one instead making rude coments.

  • TheLobsterOfFate:

I dont use tape because I have many years experience not using it, but when a job does call for it i highly recommend FROGTAPE. It never bleeds unlike the blue tape. Check it out you will be happy :)

  • undftdplaydirty1:

    Very nice demonstration. Thanks heaps.

  • spikelcf:

i just read a few comments on this and i wanna say that the guy is doing a ok job for people that just whant color and not quality. im a professional house painter my self and i think if u follow his step by step on how to do it u will have a painted wall u are happy with and thats all that matters really. some people i have worked for whanted there walls to be as smooth as class and thought it should be like that ( it will never be that smooth) , and others just whanted color.
