@jaymez42 wrong. my great grandfather was in ww2 and while in france, there was an incident with a white phosphorus grenade. he had a chunk burn through his leg.

Nowadays I’m kind of scared of doing chemistry things in my home. Last time I did it I got batteryacid in my eye (as I was stupid enough not to wear saftergoggles).
Luckly it didn’t leave any kind of damages since I rushed into the shower and stood there for about 30 minutes. Kids; take it easy with the experimenting.

Correction- White phosphorus is still being used by Israel and US. Just surf the web and you’ll see pictures of WP used in residential areas in Gaza.
